EUROPEAN STANDARDS

Over the last few years a European standard for covered conductor has been written (EN 50397) with input from the main covered conductor manufacturers including Jan Bladh, Amo Kraft.

Part 1: Covered conductors were approved in November 2006

Part 2: Accessories for use with covered conductors are in their final draft stage for full approval scheduled for Autumn 2008

Part 3: Guide to use is still in draft format but being put into practice by the majority of installers
