FIBRE GLASS TELESCOPIC OPERATING ROD

The Triangular Shape Telescopic Hotstick was designed to provide the working distance and the insulation required to perform routine jobs in overhead electrical systems, being one of the most used tools in hot line maintenance.

Triangular Cross Section – Locking buttons align automatically.

Choice of Section Length – Longer sections for greater reach or shorter sections for compact transportation.

Ergonomics and Visibility – Triangular section gives greater grip. Top section is fluorescent for visibility.

Disassembly – Lower sections that are not needed can be dropped off for reduced weight. Easy disassembly makes cleaning easy.

Dialectrically Tested – Tested to 100kV per 30cm.

The standard aluminium universal end fitting on the tip section accepts a wide range of attachments so that the stick can be used to disconnect switches, replace cut-out tubes, change pole covers, prune trees, replace electrical bulbs and perform many other related tasks.

The top section is coloured high visibility yellow and has a polyurethane foam core to ensure full insulation in conditions of high humidity.

Construction – Manufactured with epoxy reinforced fibreglass tubes, it fully complies with ASTM F 1826-00. The high visibility tip sections of these models are manufactured from polyurethane foam core that guarantees the full insulation, even though it is subject to the most rigorous conditions of humidity.
