Technical Description

• Available nominal voltages from 1 to 400 kV

• Designed for 50 Hz, other nominal frequencies on request.

When the voltage detector is switched on, the self-test facility tests the state of charge of the batteries and the electronic circuit including the response threshold. Only if these tests are passed, readiness for use of the voltage detector is indicated by the green LED.

Under normal conditions of use, it is not necessary to renew the voltage detectors lithium batteries before the next maintenance test is made after six years.

The annular electrode is provided with teeth. This prevents the contact from slipping.

Absence of voltage, or the stand-by-state, is indicated a steady green light, while the intermittent illumination of the red LED indicates "voltage present".
