SALES ENGINEER / BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The role:

  • To develop existing accounts and through good account management promote and extend product ranges and tender for new business.
  • To identify and penetrate new accounts within the industry and geographical area.
  • To give technical assistance to customers, working with customers to find the right bespoke solutions to a range of potential problems.
  • This is a home & office based role for a conscientious, hardworking individual with good people skills and a flexible attitude. Self motivation and enthusiasm is taken for granted.
  • Candidates need to have a ‘hands-on’ and ‘can-do’ mentality, be able to use their own initiative and be prepared to take responsibility for their own work.
  • A background in the Utilities or Hire industry would be a distinct advantage.
  • Sales and Marketing experience is less important than positive attitude and technical aptitude.

This position will report to the Utilities Sales Director directly.

The role is fully supported by a team of experienced and competent office staff and the position comes with the usual benefits of company car, mobile phone, laptop etc.
